What Is The Inman Aligner?

The Inman Aligner can be used to treat minor orthodontic issues, such as twisted, misaligned or crowded teeth, on the top and/or bottom teeth.

Working in a similar way to a dental retainer, the appliance is very discreet on the eye with the only visible sign being a fine wire which runs across the front of the teeth.

The Inman Aligner uses a coiled spring behind the teeth and a thin metal wire covering the front teeth. These elements work together in creating a push and pull system which gently and effectively moves the teeth into position.

How Does It Work?

Aligning your front teeth will not only improve aesthetics but will also benefit the long-term health of your teeth. Teeth continue to move throughout one’s life so crowding tends to worsen over time. Uneven teeth are prone to uneven wear causing exposure of dentine that wears fast and absorbs stain. Straight teeth are far less likely to suffer from this ageing effect and expensive corrective treatments can be avoided.

Only one Inman Aligner is needed for the entire treatment life cycle, meaning it’s a more cost-effective solution to other treatment plans which are available. And in most cases, the treatment is complete in 6-18 weeks and because it’s removable you can take it out to fit with your lifestyle.

And finally the Inman Aligner is really safe and kind to teeth and teeth alignment can be carried out as a standalone treatment or before whitening and bonding for an ideal minimally-invasive path to a confident smile.

Over the course of the next year and a half I have had them straightened, whitened, two crowns replaced and one veneer.
